Brisbane Documentary & Editorial Photographer

I capture what words often miss

Narrative-led photography for individuals and brands who want their stories captured with intention.

I focus on the in-between moments where emotion lives, where people forget the camera and something real appears.

Because those are the moments we remember.

Ways We Can Work Together

  • Woman seated on a chair pointing a polaroid camera at a mirror

    PRIVATE SOLO SESSIONS

Personal portraits that feel honest, not staged

For individuals who want story-led portraits that feel relaxed, honest and cinematic.

  • One partner lifting the other mid-kiss, morning natural light shining through the trees behind them

    COUPLE SESSIONS

Capturing moments and stories between couples

For couples who want to relive their most heartfelt moments. Elopements, anniversaries, and pre-wedding couple stories.

  • Mum and son walking side by side along a footpath, looking out over the ocean view

    FAMILY/GROUP SESSIONS

Documenting moments as they naturally unfold

For family events, parties, baby showers, and other meaningful celebrations where the real magic lives in the interactions, not the poses.

  • Close detail of blue Everlast hand wraps

    COMMERCIAL AND BRAND SHOOTS

Visual storytelling for brands that care about meaning

For brands and campaigns that want their identity and values told in resonant and impactful photography.

Behind the Camera

Hi, I’m Esther, a photographer drawn to stories people carry.

I’m a Brisbane-based documentary and editorial photographer.

My work is shaped by a curiosity for everyday life, the fleeting moments between people, the light that falls on a moment and disappears a second later.

Before photography became my work, it was simply how I tried to remember the world. Today, that same instinct still guides the way I approach every shoot, observing first, directing gently, and letting real moments unfold.

Because the photographs people return to years later are rarely the perfect ones. They’re the ones that feel true.

What It’s Like to Work Together

If this way of seeing resonates with you, let’s create something together.

Whether it’s a personal story, a brand narrative, or a meaningful celebration, I’d love to hear what you have in mind.
